When Shopify creates a product, New Product Launch Checklist alerts your team with a scored launch checklist — product status, images, description, SEO, tags, price, and required collection membership — plus links to open the product in Shopify Admin.

Verify by creating a test product in Shopify Admin. Check Results for trigger products/create — the run detail shows each checklist item as Pass or Needs work, and team alerts include the same score.
