Arcanum Engine integration
How Hollow Sentinel and Arcanum Engine work together — watch versus act.
Hollow Sentinel watches your store and tells you what changed. Arcanum Engine installs commerce systems and playbooks that act on those signals. Together they form a watch-and-act loop without duplicating dashboards.
Product roles
| Hollow Sentinel | Arcanum Engine |
|---|---|
| Passive monitoring and baselines | Active automations and directional impact tracking |
| Daily briefing and health scores | Operating score weighted by installed systems |
| Insights and revenue at risk | Playbook installs and Slack execution alerts |
| Store timeline and memory | Commerce systems and industry packs |
| Named low-stock SKU lists in briefing and insights | Ongoing low-stock alerts via Inventory Guardian playbook |
Recommendation bridge (GUARD)
When both apps are installed on the same store, Sentinel syncs open insights to Engine as GUARD recommendations — no separate Sentinel Growth requirement for sync. Engine's Command center shows Detected by Sentinel on matching opportunities. Install links include `prefill=1` and `source=sentinel` so the Engine wizard opens with context. Insight cards and Command center show Install in Engine when the insight type maps to a playbook. Sentinel does not push playbook configuration automatically.
Running one product
- Sentinel only — full monitoring, briefings, and insights without automations
- Engine only — operating score and playbooks without Sentinel's extended store memory and anomaly engine
- Both — recommended for brands that want prioritized signal plus one-click remediation paths
