Connect Klaviyo

Growth merchants can connect Klaviyo to emit track events from Winback Engine, VIP Recovery, and Review Accelerator. Hollow Reserve (Professional+) can sync booking journey events on the same API key. Arcanum Engine does not replace Klaviyo flows — it sends events your team uses as flow triggers; Klaviyo sends customer email.

Setup steps

1. In Klaviyo, open Settings → API keys and create a private API key with Events write and Profiles write access.
2. In Arcanum Engine, open Settings.
3. Paste the private API key and save — invalid keys show an error banner without saving.
4. Enter a test email address and click Test connection — confirm the test event appears on the profile in Klaviyo.
5. When installing a playbook, enable Send Klaviyo event, optionally Update Klaviyo profile properties, and override the event name if needed.

Shared key on the same store

The Klaviyo API key is stored per Shopify shop. When Hollow Sentinel or Hollow Reserve is installed on the same store, one saved key works across apps — Engine sends commerce playbook events; Reserve sends appointment journey events; Sentinel monitors Klaviyo volume for marketing health.
