Connect SMS (Twilio)
Send appointment reminder texts through your Twilio account on Hollow Reserve Professional and Studio.
Hollow Reserve can send SMS appointment reminders when clients provide a phone number at booking. SMS uses your Twilio account — Reserve does not bill per message. Reminders follow the same schedule as email booking reminders.
Setup steps
- Create or sign in to a Twilio account and verify a sender phone number.
- In Hollow Reserve, open Settings → Notifications → SMS reminders (Twilio).
- Paste your Twilio Account SID, Auth Token, and from number in E.164 format (for example +15551234567).
- Click Save Twilio credentials, then Send test SMS to confirm delivery.
- Book a test appointment with a mobile number and confirm the reminder sends before the visit.
Opt-in and content
Reserve sends transactional reminders tied to appointments the client already booked — not marketing blasts. Your booking widget should collect explicit SMS consent where your jurisdiction requires it. Message copy is plain and appointment-focused.
