Plan limits, missing briefings, Slack errors, baseline gaps, and webhook issues for Hollow Sentinel.

No daily briefing yet

  • Allow up to 24 hours after install for the first metrics capture cycle
  • Confirm the app remains installed and billing is active
  • Use Refresh on Command center or reopen the app from Shopify Admin
  • Check Settings → Email alerts (Resend) — API key, from address, and alert recipients for Starter+ delivery

No insights or sparse health scores

Baselines need several days of order and catalog activity. New stores or very low volume shops may show neutral scores until history accumulates. Insights appear when metrics diverge meaningfully from baseline — not every fluctuation opens an insight. Partial-day suppression may delay morning revenue insights until the trading day progresses.

Upgrade required on a feature

Slack briefing delivery, Klaviyo monitoring, revenue at risk, root cause analysis, industry benchmarking, and Ask Sentinel (bounded AI Q&A) require Growth. Experience probes, executive briefings, inventory forecasting, and the read-only Public API require Scale. Multi-user dashboards, SSO, and white-label reporting are roadmap items — contact sales for Enterprise programs.

Slack errors

If Slack returns 404, regenerate the incoming webhook URL in Slack and save again in Settings. Send a test message before relying on live delivery. Set briefing channel to Slack in briefing preferences and save. Settings shows scoped success or error banners for Slack.

Email not configured

If Settings shows email as not connected, add your Resend API key and a verified from address under Settings → Email alerts (Resend). Save, then send a test email. Briefings still appear on Command center even when email is not connected.

Missing timeline events

  • Confirm webhooks are registered — reopen the app after install
  • Events older than your plan's store memory retention are purged daily
  • Some third-party changes may not emit Shopify admin events Sentinel can observe

Playbook recommendations not appearing

Recommendations require an open insight whose type maps to a known Engine playbook and Arcanum Engine installed on the same store. Install in Engine links appear on Insights and Command center. Engine playbook installs still require appropriate Engine plan tiers inside Engine.
