App block surfaces
Where app blocks can be placed in Studio Arcana and what each slot is for.
Studio Arcana supports app blocks in high-intent sections so merchants can adopt booking, loyalty, and service add-on apps without editing code.
Recommended surfaces
- hero-service for top-of-funnel booking entry
- service-menu for service detail reinforcement (includes an @app slot on vertical homepage presets)
- specialist-team for practitioner-specific app actions
- cta-strip-sticky for persistent conversion support
- main-product exposes data-booking-widget-mount for service SKUs when you need an inline scheduler beside the Book CTA.
- cart-drawer — App blocks render below theme upsells and above subtotal/checkout when the cart has items.
- main-product and cart-drawer for retail conversion assists
Merchant-safe defaults
- Add app blocks as optional, never required for section rendering.
- Keep empty-state behavior clean when no app is configured.
- Validate each vertical preset (hair, spa, tattoo, beauty) before release — service-menu @app placeholders are empty until you add Hollow Reserve or partner blocks.
