Merchant quick start
- Upload your Brand logo and Favicon in Theme settings.
- Start from the homepage preset that matches your business: hair, spa, tattoo, or beauty. Presets include hero, services, specialists, and retail sections — reorder in Customize as needed.
- Optional: add Mega menu blocks under Header for rich desktop promo columns.
- Configure Header → Search and utilities: utility icon style, mobile drawer search, Shopify account menu, phone link, or secondary menu (see Header navigation guide).
- Optional: add the Lookbook section for a shoppable editorial grid.
- Configure booking URLs in Theme settings → Booking, or add booking App blocks in supported sections.
- Add service and aftercare products, then link them with custom.service_pairing and custom.treatment_service metafields.
- Add specialists, before/after proof, Local trust (address, hours, optional map embed), and policies.
- Fill Social and profile URLs and Service area for SEO and local-service structured data. Optional: reviews.rating and reviews.rating_count for Google stars.
- If you sell subscriptions on retail SKUs, enable Shopify Subscriptions selling plans and confirm the picker on Main product.
- Test one service journey and one retail journey on mobile before publishing.
Upgrading from a previous version
- Duplicate your live theme before replacing it.
- Push or upload the new theme version to an unpublished copy.
- Review Header settings after upgrade: desktop layout, utility icon style, and customer account menu (1.2.0+).
- Run through the quick-start checklist on the preview URL.
- Publish only after service and retail smoke tests pass.
