Connect Recharge

Link Recharge subscriptions to Arcanum Engine for churn alerts, failed payment recovery, and Recharge-aware replenishment.

Growth and Ops merchants can connect Recharge so Engine playbooks react to subscription cancellations, failed charges, and upcoming renewal windows. Replenishment Reminder uses Recharge next charge dates when Recharge is connected — otherwise it falls back to Shopify last order date.

Setup steps

  1. In Recharge, open Settings → API tokens and create a private API token with read access to subscriptions and charges.
  2. In Arcanum Engine, open Settings → Recharge.
  3. Paste the API token and optional webhook client secret, then save.
  4. Click Test connection — Engine confirms it can read your Recharge shop.
  5. In Recharge, register webhooks for subscription/cancelled and charge/failed pointing at your Engine webhook URL (shown in Settings after save).
  6. Install Subscription Cancelled and Subscription Payment Failed playbooks from Systems
  7. Install Replenishment Reminder — uses Recharge upcoming charge dates when connected
