How Hollow Sentinel estimates projected revenue impact from operational signals in your store snapshot.
Revenue at risk is a Growth+ feature that turns open operational signals into a dollar estimate so you can prioritize fixes. On Command center it appears in a single Needs attention card with an expandable breakdown and methodology — not as separate duplicate cards on the home page.
How estimates are built (rar-v2.1)
Sentinel sums projected impact over a 7-day horizon from components detected in your latest store snapshot. Inputs use your last 7 days of order revenue — net of refunds when refund metrics are available. This is a directional estimate for prioritization, not a revenue forecast.
- Stockout risk — about 15% of average daily revenue per low-stock SKU, capped at five SKUs for the dollar total
- Dormant customers — dormant count × 5% assumed return rate × recent average order value (count only — no customer identities)
- Conversion decline — when checkout completion (orders ÷ orders + abandoned checkouts) or session conversion drops more than 5% vs baseline, impact scales with daily revenue (suppressed when a revenue-drop insight is already open)
Low-stock SKU detail
When Sentinel detects low inventory, the daily briefing Revenue at risk card lists up to ten affected variants — product name, SKU when available, on-hand quantity, and a View in Shopify link. The same list appears on open inventory_risk insights. If more than ten SKUs are low or your catalog exceeds Shopify pagination limits, Sentinel shows a +N more note.

- Directional estimate from your 7-day snapshot — full snapshot counts available
- Estimate — some counts may be incomplete when Shopify API pagination limits apply
- Learning — baseline still forming during the 14-day learning period
Where it appears
- Command center — unified Needs attention card with SKU preview, actions, and expandable breakdown; operator summary links to the same breakdown
- Daily briefing sections on Command center — inventory and revenue health narratives (RAR detail in the attention card on home)
- Insights — inventory_risk shows affected SKUs; dollar breakdown stays briefing-level in v1 (not per-insight dollars on every card)
