Studio Arcana pairing

Hollow Reserve and Studio Arcana are separate products that connect through Theme settings, app blocks, and storefront events. You can use Reserve on any Online Store 2.0 theme; Studio Arcana is the premium paired storefront.

Setup checklist

1. Publish an Experience Blueprint and link at least one service product.
2. Create /pages/booking and add the Reserve booking block.
3. In the theme: Theme settings → Booking → Hollow Reserve (base URL can stay blank).
4. Test /pages/booking?service=your-service-handle.
5. On a service card with a linked staff ID, tap Book — the widget should open with that staff and service.
6. Optional: Sync from theme specialists in Reserve → Staff so specialist cards pass staffId.

Book button behavior

When the Reserve widget is on the page, Book opens it in place. When it is not, Book goes to your booking URL (Reserve page or external scheduler). External-only merchants set Booking provider to External and never need Reserve.

After booking → aftercare

• Add the Reserve aftercare upsell block where you want post-book product suggestions.
• In Studio Arcana, tag aftercare products and set service pairing metafields so the cart can recommend the right retail SKUs.
• A successful book fires hollow-reserve:booked for analytics and follow-up surfaces.

If Book does nothing

• Confirm the Reserve booking block is on /pages/booking or the current template.
• Confirm Theme settings → Booking provider matches how you sell appointments.
• For external schedulers, confirm Booking base URL is set.
• Hard-refresh the storefront after adding app blocks.
