Booking widget
Enable the Hollow Reserve theme app extension and place the storefront booking widget so clients can book published Experience Blueprints.
The booking widget is a theme app extension included on all Hollow Reserve plans. It lists your published Experience Blueprints and starts the booking flow on your Online Store.
Enable the extension
- Publish at least one Experience Blueprint in Hollow Reserve.
- In Shopify Admin, open Online Store → Themes → Customize.
- Open App embeds or add the Hollow Reserve booking block to a template (for example, a services or booking page).
- Save the theme and preview your storefront.
In Hollow Reserve, use Blueprints → Edit → Widget preview to see the hosted booking flow before publishing theme changes. The Open theme editor button deep-links to Shopify Admin with the apps context.
In the theme editor, adjust accent color, corner radius, max width, layout (standard, compact, or hero), and button labels. Optionally set an Experience slug to show one blueprint on a service page, or use ?experience=your-slug in the page URL.
Clients move through a three-step flow — Experience, Schedule, Confirm — with journey step previews when enabled. Confirmation shows what happens next in your blueprint.
What clients see
The widget shows published blueprint names and loads availability from your Reserve app proxy. When no blueprints are published, the widget displays a friendly empty state instead of a broken booking form.
Customer Accounts extension (Studio)
Studio includes a Customer Accounts extension so logged-in clients can view upcoming appointments and rebook from their account area. The theme widget remains the primary discovery surface for new clients.
