Experience Blueprints

Define multi-stage client journeys — intake, appointment, commerce, follow-up, review, and waitlist — then publish bookable experiences on Shopify.

An Experience Blueprint is a complete client journey, not a single calendar slot. You define stages from first touch through rebook, publish the blueprint, and Hollow Reserve orchestrates each step as a client moves through your service.

Stage types

  • Intake — consultation forms and pre-visit questions (Professional+)
  • Appointment — bookable time with staff and duration rules
  • Commerce — deposits and add-on products via Shopify checkout (Professional+)
  • Communication — email and SMS touchpoints around the visit
  • Automation — timed follow-ups and rebook prompts (Studio)
  • Review — post-visit review requests tied to the experience
  • Waitlist — capture demand when slots are full (Professional+)

Draft, publish, archive

  1. Open Blueprints → Create blueprint and name your journey (for example, "The Luminous Color Experience").
  2. Review default stages and adjust timing, staff assignment, and messaging.
  3. Save as draft while you configure; only published blueprints appear on your storefront widget.
  4. Publish when ready — published blueprints count toward your plan limit.
  5. Archive when a journey is retired; archived blueprints stop accepting new bookings.

After you publish

Place the theme booking widget so clients can choose a published blueprint and book. Each booking creates an experience instance tracked on Calendar and in your client ledger. Communication and automation stages handle follow-up after the visit; Studio adds rebook automation and Customer Accounts visibility.
