Color schemes
Storewide colors and per-section color schemes in Studio Arcana.
Theme settings → Colors and Color schemes define the palette. Sections pick a scheme so backgrounds, text, and buttons stay consistent.
Sales channels > Online Store > Themes > Customize > Theme settings > Colors / Color schemes
How schemes work
- Each scheme includes background, text, buttons, and accents.
- Sections choose a scheme from a dropdown (often Scheme 1, Scheme 2, …).
- Changing a scheme updates every section that uses it after save.
Practical tips
- Keep one light and one dark scheme for alternating bands.
- Check button contrast on each scheme before launch.
- Overlays on hero images should keep headline text readable.
Accessibility
- Aim for WCAG AA contrast for body text and primary buttons.
- Do not convey status with color alone (sale badges need text or icons).
- Test dark mode if Enable dark mode toggle is on.
Troubleshooting
- One section looks wrong — it may use a different scheme; open that section’s Colors group.
- App blocks ignore scheme — set colors in the app, or wrap placement in a section that shares the band.
- Custom CSS overrides — search for hardcoded hex in Custom CSS before blaming schemes.
