Spacing and density

Spacing density in Theme settings sets the baseline vertical rhythm. Individual sections can still override top and bottom padding.

Density choices

• Compact — denser catalogs and multi-section landing pages
• Comfortable — default for most vertical presets
• Relaxed — more air for spa and editorial storytelling

Section overrides

Open a section → Spacing. Leave padding at default to inherit density. Increase padding only when one band needs extra separation (for example after a dark hero).

How to check it worked

1. Set density to Compact and scroll the homepage — gaps should shrink.
2. On one section, raise bottom padding — only that section should expand.
3. Reset section padding to default — it should match density again.
