Theme settings: Shape and spacing

Theme settings → Shape and spacing controls how sharp or soft surfaces feel, and how much room sections leave between content.

Sales channels > Online Store > Themes > Customize > Theme settings > Shape and spacing

Corner radius

• Global corner radius — base radius for cards, buttons, and inputs
• Media radius — optional override for images and gallery frames
• Character (Refined vs Bold) can amplify shadow and heading weight without changing these radius tokens

Spacing density

• Compact — tighter section padding for content-heavy catalogs
• Comfortable (typical default) — balanced breathing room
• Relaxed — more vertical space for editorial and spa-style layouts

Many sections also expose their own padding controls. Section values override density only for that section; leave them at default to inherit Theme settings.

How to check it worked

1. Change Global corner radius and save — cards and buttons should update on the homepage.
2. Switch Spacing density and scroll a long page — section gaps should feel tighter or looser.
3. Open a product page — buy box and media frames should follow media radius when set.
