Colors and visual
Set the fallback palette, modal overlay scrim, and related visual theme settings in Studio Arcana.
Theme settings → Colors controls the fallback palette for the page root, password screen, and dark-mode mix. Most sections, the header, and the footer still use Color schemes for their own bands.
Online Store → Themes → Customize → Theme settings (gear) → Colors
Fallback palette
- Primary / On primary — buttons, links, and text on primary backgrounds.
- Buy it now / On Buy it now — unbranded Buy it now button (wallet buttons keep their own branding).
- Accent — focus rings and secondary accents.
- Surface / Surface alt — main and alternate backgrounds.
- Text / Muted text / Border — body copy and outlines (scheme Muted text still wins on most cards).
Modal overlays
These two settings style the dimmed layer behind drawers, dialogs, and popups (cart, mobile menu, quick view, size chart, gallery lightbox, newsletter popup, age gate, filters, and predictive search).
- Scrim color — tint behind the overlay. Use transparency so the page stays visible underneath.
- Scrim blur — backdrop blur in pixels. 0 keeps a flat tint; higher values frost the page behind the overlay.
