Journal and blog
Set up the Studio Arcana journal index, article pages, tags, and homepage Featured blog section.
Studio Arcana treats your Shopify blog as a **studio journal** — aftercare, first-visit prep, and policies that lead shoppers toward booking. The theme ships dedicated **Main blog** and **Main article** sections (not a title-only stub).
Templates
- **Blog index** (`blog.json`) — Main blog: optional featured post, tag chips, paginated article cards, plus a sticky Book / services CTA.
- **Article** (`article.json`) — Main article: date, author, tags, featured image, reading progress, share controls, related posts, and the same sticky CTA.
Color schemes and images
- Pick a **color scheme** on Main blog, Main article, and Featured blog so the section band and article cards use surface, border, muted text, and accent tokens.
- Under **Images and cards**, choose gallery mask (theme default or a specific shape), optional hairline, image ratio, crop position, card style (standard or editorial offset), and 3D tilt.
- The same image settings style the article hero and related-post cards on Main article.
Tags and featured posts
- Use tags such as **aftercare**, **first-visit**, and **policies** so shoppers can filter the journal.
- Tag one post **featured** to pin it above the grid on page one of the blog index. If no post is tagged featured, the newest post is featured instead.
- Publish posts under **Online Store → Blog posts**. Vertical seed data ships sample posts with these tags.
Homepage Featured blog
In the theme editor, add the **Studio journal** (Featured blog) section to your homepage. Choose your blog (often **News**), set heading and post count, and keep the link to the full journal. This section is not auto-injected into homepage presets — add it when you want a content teaser above booking CTAs.
Bridge to booking
Default blog and article templates keep the sticky CTA strip pointed at services and booking. In article copy, link to aftercare collections, booking pages, or policy pages so education converts into visits.
