Ritual Builder setup

Ritual Builder is a homepage or landing section that walks shoppers through choosing products or services as a guided kit. It works best when each step maps to a clear collection or product list.

Sales channels > Online Store > Themes > Customize > add Ritual Builder section > configure blocks

Before you start

• Create collections (or products) for each step — for example Prep, Core, Finish.
• Tag or organize inventory so each step has enough in-stock options.
• Decide whether the final CTA adds all selected items to cart or opens booking.

Section setup

1. Add Ritual Builder to the template (often homepage or a landing page).
2. Set the section heading and intro copy.
3. Add a block per step — title, description, and product source (collection or product list).
4. Configure the summary / CTA labels and optional booking link.
5. Save and preview on mobile — steps should remain readable without horizontal scroll.

Cart and booking

• Retail kits — selected products add to cart together when the shopper confirms.
• Services — prefer booking CTA or Hollow Reserve when products are type:service.
• Mixed kits — keep retail and services on separate steps so the CTA stays unambiguous.

Accessibility

• Step navigation must work with keyboard.
• Selected state needs a visible focus and selected indicator, not color alone.
• Respect Theme settings → Motion; steps must remain usable with animations off.

Troubleshooting

• Empty step — the collection has no published products, or the storefront filter hid them.
• CTA does nothing — confirm cart permissions and that products are available for sale.
• Section too tall on mobile — shorten step descriptions and reduce product cards per step.
